JUST IN: Actress Jumoke George’s Daughter Returns From Mali

There is relief for veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George as her daughter, Adeola, has returned safely to Nigeria after being trafficked to Mali four years ago.

The chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, shared the news on Monday, stating that Adeola was officially received by the commission following her rescue.

“She was trafficked but has now been brought back home,” Dabiri-Erewa confirmed.

NiDCOM thanked actress Bola Adebayo for drawing public attention to the case and also acknowledged the support of actor Niyi Johnson, who helped bring the situation to light.

The circumstances surrounding Adeola’s trafficking and rescue remain unclear, but officials say more details will be made available in due course.
