A fire erupted on Wednesday morning at Eco Fitness Hub, a popular gym and wellness center located in the Gwarinpa area of Abuja, Nigeria.
Witnesses at the scene reported that the flames spread quickly, consuming significant portions of the facility. Local residents gathered nearby, watching anxiously as smoke billowed from the building, which is frequented by fitness enthusiasts and community members.
Emergency responders arrived swiftly to contain the blaze. Firefighters worked to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.
While much of the facility suffered damage, there were no injuries or fatalities reported among the staff or gym members, as confirmed by eyewitnesses on site. An investigation into the fire’s origin is ongoing, and the exact cause of the incident has not yet been determined.
