Just In: Nigerian Gospel Singer Aduke Gold is Dead

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Ajayi Aduke Morounkola, widely known by her stage name Aduke Gold, has sadly passed away.

The news of her death was confirmed on Tuesday morning by fellow gospel artist Esther Igbekele, who took to social media to express her sorrow. In a heartfelt message, she wrote, “A GENERAL HAS FALLEN. ADUKE GOLD #rip,” signifying the loss of a beloved figure in the gospel music community.

Details regarding the cause of Aduke Gold’s death have not yet been disclosed to the public. As of now, fans and colleagues are left to mourn the sudden departure of a woman who had touched many lives with her music.

Aduke Gold’s journey into the world of music began professionally in 2004. She gained widespread recognition after a remarkable live performance during the first remembrance event for the late gospel artist Baba Ara.

This performance marked a turning point in her career, bringing her into the limelight and establishing her as a respected voice in the Nigerian gospel music scene.

Born as the 11th child to her late parents, Aduke Gold spent her formative years in the Ogba and Badagry areas of Lagos. Her upbringing in these vibrant communities likely influenced her musical style, which resonated with many across Nigeria.
