Hundreds of travelers find themselves stranded on the Abuja-Kaduna highway near Suleja in Niger state as protesters block the road, causing a significant traffic jam.
The protest, which started early Thursday morning, has led to a complete standstill on a section of the highway. Many commuters traveling to Kaduna, have been caught in the chaos.
The blockage has created a massive gridlock extending several kilometers. The affected area stretches from Aluminum Village to the nearby Zuma military barracks, significantly disrupting travel plans for many.
Eyewitnesses noted that a few police officers were present at the scene, but they were unable to manage the situation due to the overwhelming number of protesters.
