The Kwara Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has officially started the online registration process for the 2025 Hajj. This announcement was made on Wednesday by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, and was shared in a statement by the board’s Press Secretary, Jumoke Jimoh, in Ilorin, the state capital.
According to the statement, the registration is open to all intending pilgrims who wish to participate in the Hajj through the Kwara State Board. The registration process requires participants to complete an online form and submit a bank draft of N8.5 million. This payment must be made at the board’s headquarters in Ilorin.
Alhaji Abdulkadir emphasized the importance of adherence to the guidelines set by the board for all Muslim residents and non-residents of Kwara State who are planning to perform the Hajj in 2025.
“All intending pilgrims are expected to raise a bank draft of N8.5m after completion of form,” the statement quotes him as saying.
The board’s directive is aimed at ensuring a smooth registration process and proper coordination for the pilgrimage. The Executive Secretary also encouraged those interested to begin their registration early to avoid any last-minute rush.
The Kwara Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has urged all intending pilgrims to follow the instructions carefully and complete their registration in time, as the process is crucial for planning and logistical purposes ahead of the pilgrimage.
