Mr. Macaroni Slams Sanwo-Olu Over Poor Road Conditions

Nigerian comedian and activist Debo Adedayo, known widely as Mr. Macaroni, has expressed his disappointment with the current state of roads in Lagos.

Through a post on social media platform X.com on Monday, November 4, Mr. Macaroni directed his concerns toward Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, questioning the administration’s priorities when it comes to local infrastructure.

Addressing the governor directly, Mr. Macaroni said, “Hello Mr Governor #jidesanwoolu, One of these days when you are not too busy with the very serious task of going to the Airport in Abuja to welcome Mr President from an International trip, kindly take a drive around Lagos roads and let us know why the government continues to risk the lives of Lagosians.”

Frequent traffic congestion, worsened by potholes and broken-down sections, has made commuting within Lagos increasingly difficult. Many residents complain about the risk of accidents and vehicle damage, particularly during the rainy season when roads become even harder to navigate.
