Nigerian singer 2Baba has made waves by suggesting that the recent assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump was a set-up.
According to reports, Trump narrowly avoided an assassination during his presidential rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. The FBI has identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the main suspect involved in the attempt on Trump’s life.
Despite the official confirmation from security agencies, 2Baba, known for his bold opinions, believes the event was orchestrated. On his Instagram account, he posted, “Jessie Smallet dey learn. I go shock if I wrong but this sh*t na pure package. All black everything. Hollywood dey learn.”
The singer’s comment refers to Jussie Smollett, a Hollywood actor who was previously involved in a controversial and allegedly staged attack on himself. By making this comparison, 2Baba insinuates that Trump’s alleged assassination attempt was also a fabrication.
2Baba is not alone in his skepticism. Fellow veteran singer Charly Boy, stylist Toyin Lawani, and American actress Amanda Seales have also shared their doubts regarding the authenticity of the incident. These figures have taken to various social media platforms to voice their concerns and question the narrative being presented by authorities.
