“Nigerians Please Help Me” – Afenifere Youth Leader Begs for N100m Ransom

The National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, Prince Eniola Ojajuni, has made a desperate plea for help after being kidnapped. In a viral video circulating online, Ojajuni is seen with an AK-47 pointed at his chest as he begs Nigerians to contribute towards the N100 million ransom demanded by his abductors.

In the video, Ojajuni, visibly distressed, appeals to the public for financial assistance. “Nigerians, please help me! Your donation—N100,000, N50,000, or N1,000,000—can go a long way in saving my life,” he pleads. “My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me spread this video.”

Confirming the abduction, the National Secretary of the Afenifere National Youth Council, Abiodun Aderohunmu, expressed deep concern over Ojajuni’s safety.

“The Afenifere National Youths Council is deeply saddened to announce the kidnapping of its National President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, in Abuja. During the attack, he sustained a gunshot wound, and we are extremely concerned about his safety,” the statement read.

Aderohunmu called on the Federal Government and security agencies to take urgent action to secure Ojajuni’s release. Meanwhile, the kidnappers have reportedly given a strict 48-hour deadline, threatening to kill him if the ransom is not paid.

A leaked voice recording has also surfaced, revealing a tense negotiation between the kidnappers and Ojajuni’s family. During the conversation, Ojajuni confirms that he has already been shot in the buttock. A family member, struggling to negotiate, pleads for a reduction in the ransom amount.

“Please, what can you do for us? How do we pay?” the family member asks, explaining that they are considering selling a small piece of family land to raise funds. However, the kidnappers remain firm on their demand.

“You must pay in cash,” one of the abductors insists. When the family offers N10 million, the kidnapper refuses, saying, “God forbid bad thing. If you continue talking nonsense, I swear to Almighty God you won’t hear from me again. The last price my boss gave me is N100 million, but if you can raise something better, let me know.”
