No Premier League Team Will Reach 100 Points or Win Four Titles in a Row Again – Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made a bold statement, saying that no team will be able to win four consecutive Premier League titles or reach 100 points in a season during his lifetime.

Guardiola made this remark ahead of Manchester City’s crucial match against current league leaders Liverpool. The reigning champions, who have won the league four times in a row, are facing tough competition this season as they fight to retain their title.

Speaking with Neil Warnock on Sky Sports, Guardiola stated: “No one is going to win [with] 100 points, and four-in-a-row in the Premier League. It’s not going to happen in my lifetime, I’m sorry!”

Manchester City remains the only club in Premier League history to have reached 100 points in a single season, achieving the remarkable feat during the 2017-18 campaign. That season, they set multiple records, including the most wins and the biggest title-winning margin. However, Guardiola believes that such dominance will not be repeated.

This season has been challenging for City. Their hopes of winning the Champions League were recently crushed by Real Madrid, leaving them with only the FA Cup as their best chance for silverware. Meanwhile, Liverpool has been leading the title race, putting serious pressure on City’s reign at the top.
