Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is on the verge of a high-profile transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli, following an agreement between both clubs. The deal, reportedly worth between €75 million and €80 million, includes a substantial financial package for Osimhen.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared the news, stating that the agreement between Napoli and Al Ahli is complete, paving the way for Osimhen’s move.
The Nigerian international is expected to sign a lucrative four-year contract with Al Ahli, earning an impressive £33.6 million (€40 million) per season, which translates to approximately £646,000 per week.
Notably, his salary will be tax-free, making it one of the most lucrative contracts in football.
Al Ahli has also arranged a medical examination for Osimhen, a critical step before finalizing the transfer. Despite interest from other clubs, including Chelsea, Osimhen appears set on joining Al Ahli. The contract will also include a release clause, allowing Osimhen potential opportunities to move in the future.
Romano shared updates on social media platform X, saying, “BREAKING: Napoli reach total agreement with Al Ahli for Victor Osimhen! Club to club deal done for €75/80m total package, Al Ahli have already booked a medical. Four year contract worth €25/30m per season net to Osimhen + RELEASE clause. Final green light up to Victor.”
