Osimhen’s Header Secures Galatasaray Win at Alanyaspor

Victor Osimhen was the hero as Galatasaray clinched a 2-1 victory over Alanyaspor at GAIN Park. The Super Eagles striker scored the decisive goal, keeping Galatasaray ahead in the Turkish Super Lig title race.

Alanyaspor took the lead in the 23rd minute through Tonny Vilhena, putting pressure on the visitors. However, Galatasaray equalized early in the second half when Fidan Aliti scored an own goal in the 51st minute.

Osimhen then sealed the win in the 62nd minute with a powerful header. He had two more chances but couldn’t add to his tally before being substituted in the 90th minute.

With this result, Galatasaray extends their lead over Fenerbahce to seven points with ten games remaining. Now out of the Europa League, they are fully focused on securing a third consecutive Super Lig title.
