Presidency Responds to Allegations of Tinubu Influencing Judiciary, Other Govt Institutions

The Nigerian presidency has strongly addressed claims that President Bola Tinubu is interfering with the judiciary and other key government institutions. This comes amid growing concerns from critics about his approach to governance, particularly regarding issues like corruption and government accountability.

Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, made the clarifications during an appearance on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily program.

Bwala emphasized that President Tinubu is fully committed to ensuring that systems and institutions within the country operate independently, without interference from the presidency.

Bwala explained that the president’s leadership philosophy is grounded in respect for the autonomy of these institutions.
