President Tinubu to Hold First Media Chat Tonight at 9 PM

Nigerians will have the opportunity to hear directly from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he holds his first Presidential Media Chat tonight, Monday, December 23, 2024.

The much-anticipated program is scheduled to air at 9 p.m. on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

The announcement was made in a statement signed earlier today by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

According to the statement titled “Airing of Presidential Media Chat,” Nigerians across the country are encouraged to tune in to their local TV and radio stations, as all broadcasting platforms are instructed to carry the program.

“All television and radio stations are requested to hook up to the broadcast,” the statement urged.

The media chat is expected to address key national issues, giving citizens a chance to hear the President’s perspectives on pressing topics affecting the nation. This initiative marks an effort by the administration to maintain transparency and foster direct communication with the public.

The program will also allow President Tinubu to outline his administration’s goals for the coming year, as well as provide updates on current government policies.
