Senate President Godswill Akpabio has extended his congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo, the governor-elect of Edo State, and his deputy, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, following their success in the recently concluded Edo State governorship election. The election was closely contested, but Akpabio described their victory as well-earned and important for the future of the state.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio expressed his thoughts on the election results. He emphasized that the victory is not only a triumph for the All Progressives Congress (APC) but for the people of Edo State as a whole.
