President Bola Tinubu on Thursday praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for what he described as strong leadership and major infrastructural transformation in Anambra State.
Arriving in the state for a working visit, Tinubu was welcomed by state officials and political allies before proceeding to commission several key projects completed under the Soludo administration.
The President’s visit marked a significant moment for the state government, as it received public recognition from Nigeria’s highest office.
Among the projects inaugurated were the Emeka Anyaoku Center located at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the newly constructed Government House in Awka, an entertainment and recreation complex named Solution Fun City, and a major 8-lane road known as the Aroma-Government House Boulevard.
At the commissioning ceremony, which was held at the new Government House premises, Tinubu openly expressed his support for Governor Soludo, saying, “I am honoured to be here. I commend my friend, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, who is a visionary and competent leader for the work he has been doing in Anambra State.”
The President also noted the value of strong governance in sub-national entities, stressing the importance of impactful leadership at state level. He stated that when governors perform effectively, the entire country benefits through improved quality of life, jobs, and social stability.
