President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for a thorough investigation into the recent attack on an army base in Sabon Gidan, Damboa, which claimed the lives of six soldiers. The early-morning assault, carried out last Saturday, has raised concerns about security in the region.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the President expressed his deep condolences to the military and the families of the fallen soldiers. He urged the authorities to examine the incident carefully and draw lessons to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
