Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has called on all Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Tinubu as the country faces significant economic challenges. The Minister emphasized that collective support is essential for the President to successfully implement solutions that will benefit every citizen.
As the country approaches nationwide protests scheduled for August 1st, Tunji-Ojo highlighted the importance of unity during this transformative period. “Sixty-four years after attaining sovereign status, our beloved nation has consciously strived toward the realisation of a better Nigeria,” he stated.
He stressed that this moment in history requires acknowledging achievements and recognizing the challenges that lie ahead.
The Minister praised President Tinubu’s dedication and courage in addressing Nigeria’s longstanding issues. He noted that the President’s commitment is evident in his proactive approach to resolving the nation’s economic hardships.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated unparalleled boldness and tenacity in confronting and addressing the longstanding issues that plague our nation,” Tunji-Ojo said. He assured citizens that the President is acutely aware of their struggles and is working tirelessly to address them.
Tunji-Ojo called on Nigerians to support the President’s vision for a prosperous and equitable Nigeria. He believes that collective resilience and patriotism are crucial during this period. “In these times of both challenge and opportunity, it is imperative that we, the people of Nigeria, come together with renewed vigour and unwavering support for President Tinubu’s administration,” he urged.
