Transfer News: De Ligt, Mazraoui Joins Man United, Reveal Who Convinced Them To Move

Manchester United’s summer transfer window has seen the arrival of two prominent players from Bayern Munich: Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. Both players have revealed that their decision to join Manchester United was significantly influenced by their former manager, Erik ten Hag.

Matthijs de Ligt, who has signed a contract with Manchester United until June 2029, with an option for an additional year, expressed his enthusiasm about the move.

He stated, “Erik ten Hag played an important part in my development as a player, so it is exciting to be reuniting with him as I enter the prime years of my career.” Mazraoui is aware of ten Hag’s expectations and is committed to giving his best to contribute to the team’s success, saying, “I know what he expects from his players, and I will give everything to help the group be successful.”
