Victor Osimhen Dedicates Goal to Tony Elumelu’s Sons in Galatasaray Victory

Victor Osimhen made headlines on Saturday with a heartfelt gesture during Galatasaray’s 2-1 triumph over Goztepe at RAMS Park. The Nigerian striker celebrated his opening goal in a unique fashion, dedicating it to the twin sons of Nigerian billionaire Tony Elumelu.

The 26-year-old forward, who joined Galatasaray in mid-2024, found the net in the 10th minute, confidently converting a penalty after sending goalkeeper Mateusz Lis in the wrong direction. This goal marked Osimhen’s 10th league goal since arriving at the Turkish club, solidifying his reputation as a key player.

What caught everyone’s attention was Osimhen’s celebration. After scoring, he ran to the sidelines and retrieved a customized Galatasaray jersey with the message, “Happy birthday, Tony and Toby.” He held it up for cameras, dedicating the goal to Elumelu’s twin sons on their 10th birthday.
