Tobi Adegboyega, a Nigerian pastor based in the United Kingdom, has addressed recent claims that he is facing deportation.
Speaking on Monday during an interview on Channels Television’s program “Politics Today,” Pastor Adegboyega denied any wrongdoing and described the situation as politically driven.
Adegboyega, who is the founder of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), has been in the spotlight since his church was shut down by the British government over allegations of financial mismanagement involving £1.87 million.
Despite these claims, Adegboyega firmly stated that he has nothing to hide.
During the interview, the pastor emphasized his innocence, saying, “Our problem is politically motivated; the police have not invited anybody… My records in the UK are clean; no fear of deportation.”
“We had a situation where people believed that I was supporting a certain political party.”
