PDP Shifts BoT Meeting Due to Security Concerns at National Secretariat

The Peoples Democratic Party has issued a special announcement confirming the relocation of its Board of Trustees (BoT) Meeting scheduled for today.

In a post shared on the party’s official Facebook page earlier today, the PDP informed its members and the general public about the sudden change in venue.

The statement, titled “Special Announcement! Change of Venue for the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) Meeting,” was published around midday, just hours after the planned meeting at the party’s national headquarters in Wadata Plaza, Abuja.

According to the announcement, “The Meeting of the Board of Trustees (BoT) Meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), earlier scheduled to hold by 10AM at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja has been moved to YarAdua Center, Central Business District, Abuja.”

The change in location is believed to be due to growing security concerns surrounding the Wadata Plaza area. Reports suggest that some security barricades were placed around the area, possibly limiting access and prompting the decision to move the meeting.
