Olori Solape Christianah Abolarin, Wife of Oba Oke-Ila, Passes Away

The Queen of Oke-Ila, Olori Solape Christianah Abolarin, has died, leaving the people of Osun State in mourning. She was the cherished wife of Oba Adedokun Abolarin, the traditional ruler of Oke-Ila Orangun.

Known for her calm nature, graceful presence, and dedication to her community, Olori Solape’s passing has deeply saddened many across Nigeria and beyond.

Her death was confirmed by the king himself in a brief but emotional phone call.

Struggling to speak, Oba Abolarin told reporters, “My dearest olori is gone. She brought joy and happiness into my life…” His voice, filled with grief, reflected the deep loss he now bears.

Chief Dele Momodu, a close family friend and media personality, shared the news on Facebook, writing:

“We lost a rare gem, our unforgettable OLORI SOLAPE CHRISTIANAH ABOLARIN, The compassionate Queen of OKE-ILA ORANGUN in Osun State… May your beautiful soul rest in peace… May God almighty console our phenomenal King OBA ADEDOKUN ABOLARIN AROYINKEYE I and the good people of Oke-Ila Orangun…”
