PHOTOS: Oluremi Tinubu Visits Babangida, Abdulsalami in Minna

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has paid a visit to two former leaders, General Ibrahim Babangida and General Abdulsalami Abubakar, in Minna, the capital of Niger State.

Mrs. Tinubu arrived in Minna on Tuesday morning aboard a private aircraft, landing at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport at approximately 10:30 a.m. She was welcomed by Niger State Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago and his wife, Fatima Bago, before proceeding to her scheduled meetings.

Her first stop was the residence of General Ibrahim Babangida, a former military president. The two held a private discussion behind closed doors for about 35 minutes. Though details of their conversation remain undisclosed, the visit has drawn attention, considering Babangida’s influence in Nigeria’s political landscape.

Following her meeting with Babangida, Mrs. Tinubu moved to the nearby home of General Abdulsalami Abubakar, another respected former Head of State. Like her earlier visit, this meeting was also private.
