Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has removed photos and mentions of her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, from her Instagram page. This comes after weeks of speculation about alleged troubles in their marriage.
Daniels, who is known for her work in the Nigerian film industry, had previously deactivated her Instagram account following rumors that her husband had impregnated fellow actress Chika Ike.
As the speculation spread online, many fans flooded her page with questions, seeking confirmation or denial of the claims.
In response to the controversy, Senator Nwoko’s office issued a statement denying the allegations. Similarly, Chika Ike took to her social media platforms to dismiss the rumors, making it clear that she was not expecting a child with the senator.
However, Regina Daniels made her return to Instagram on Friday with some noticeable changes. She removed all pictures of Senator Nwoko from her page and took his name off her bio.
Instead, her updated profile now displays her full name as “Regina Daniels Nneamaka Favour.” She also shared a video of herself with the caption, “Even for the convoy, I dey with my Google map. Young and accomplished.”
