Femi Fani-Kayode, Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, has attributed Donald Trump’s success in the U.S. election to divine intervention.
Fani-Kayode expressed his belief that Trump’s wins in key battleground states like Georgia and North Carolina are evidence of God’s support, despite numerous obstacles the former president has faced.
Using his X (formerly Twitter) account, Fani-Kayode shared his views on Wednesday, claiming that “The Lord stopped the witch & granted @realDonaldTrump victory.”
He argued that Trump’s journey has been marred by relentless efforts from opponents who have allegedly tried to “jail and kill him.”
According to Fani-Kayode, these attempts were ultimately thwarted because, in his words, “the Lord was with him.”
The former minister described Trump’s apparent comeback as “the greatest” in political history, celebrating it as a testament to the strength of his faith and resilience.
He posted: “The Lord stopped the witch & granted @realDonaldTrump victory.
“This is the greatest comeback in the history of politics. There is nothing they did not do to stop him including trying to jail & kill him but the Lord was with Him.
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! He is faithful, He is true! Glory be to His holy name. Congrats to @realDonaldTrump!”
